Paris Shopping Guide
Over 100 shops: Stationery, Womenswear, Menswear, Homewares, Galleries, Bookstores, Cookware and More

I’ve been living in Paris for just over a year and have an overwhelming number of pins saved on my Paris Google Map (700 and counting). About half are restaurants, cafés, and bakeries, and the other half are shops.
One of the best parts about living here is the access to all kinds of stores: small brands I can usually only shop online, stationery from Japan, jewelry made at a Parisian atelier, and art supplies crafted in France. My favorite pastime is wandering around and popping into shops to see what people are making.
A few months ago I posted this mini shopping guide of artisan and design shops in Paris and didn’t expect it to take off the way it did. Thousands of people shared it, and it made me realize that people want to know where to shop in Paris beyond the high-end designer stores.
So if you’re heading to Paris and want a map of over 100 shops that aren’t Dior or Hermès, this is the guide for you. It’s divided into categories: clothing, stationery, homewares, cookware, bookstores, art supplies (including knitting shops), perfume, menswear, and galleries. I’ll keep adding to it as I find new places I love.
One thing worth noting: I’m not a big jewelry or cosmetics person, and I’m not much of a vintage clothing shopper either. You’ll find a couple of shops from each of those categories here, but I’m not your best resource for those specifically.
